How can I make a Tesla coil (preferably hand-held, but I do not care)?

Some cutting edge of new Tesla coil line: question bajubjubs Dr : How can I make a Tesla coil (preferably hand-held, but I do not care) I am new to working with electricity and stuff, and I'm grounded, so I have some free time on my hands and I wonder if anyone that I could be a fairly detailed description of approach, like a Tesla coil, preferably hand-kept, but I do not genuinely care. I searched on Google and Yahoo Search, but I do not describe how. It would be quite grateful. Thank you
